Stewardship in Action
The University’s stewardship of Argonne and Fermilab provides institutional support and unique resources that help the national labs tackle some of the greatest scientific and technical challenges of our time.
Graduate Research Cooperative
UChicago is developing a Graduate Research Cooperative that will foster and coordinate joint graduate student research between the University and Argonne.
By working together, researchers from UChicago and the national laboratories accelerate discovery in the physical and biological sciences, engineering, computing, and many other fields.
University President Robert J. Zimmer chairs the Argonne and Fermilab boards alongside distinguished board members drawn from the highest levels of academia, industry and prior government service.
